Born and raised in Ladismith in the Little Karoo I was always surrounded with vineyards, fruit orchards and the most beautiful mountainous landscapes and was taught to appreciate the finer things in life. I surely got my love for art from my dad. He has been collecting art for the past 20 years and needless to say our house always looked like a gallery with around 300 pieces of art in his private collection.

Shalom Art started in a coffee shop in Springs on the East Rand of Johannesburg back in 2011 when I took a bold step to quit my full time job as a rental agent. Today I feel so blessed, I am surrounded by beautiful artwork all day and can help make client’s houses a little more homely, one painting at a time. I can truthfully say that I love my “job”.My vision for Shalom Art is to be in the position to give back and bless those in need. I firmly believe that you are blessed so to be a blessing to someone else.
